Creating a Project at High Altitudes
When creating a project located at high altitudes, there can be an impact on sunlight intensity from thinner air. To correctly model that impact in HelioScope:
1. Make sure you are choosing a weather file from a ground-based source at a similar altitude to your project location or from a satellite-based weather provider, not Meteonorm, that accounts for elevation like Prospector.
2. If the right weather file is not available within HelioScope, you can always upload a custom weather file.
