Single-Axis Trackers are exclusively available for our Enterprise Plan. However, estimated gains can be modeled in HelioScope with a Basic or Pro account using a workaround method.
Getting estimated tracker production
To create a tracker workaround design, create a standard ground mount design using Fixed Tilt Racking set at an azimuth of 90 degrees with a tilt of 0 degrees, as shown here:
After completing the design, the gains can be added. To incorporate gains from single-access trackers, edit the soiling losses in your Condition Set. The production gain from using single-access trackers is a boost of between 15 - 36%. An estimated average expected gain in HelioScope with trackers is 24%. To add this gain in production, change your soiling loss for the year (or for each month if it varies). Below is an example of how the soiling loss would change from a default value of -2% after being boosted by 24%:
- Default soiling loss: 2.0%
- Soiling with 24% boost: -22.0%
Note: A negative loss will show as a boost in the simulation.
