To prevent modules from being designed in specific areas, create a Keepout Area. Click Keepouts to navigate to the Keepout controls. To hide the modules click Showing Array . Draw areas on the map where the obstructions are located, and set a setback or height for the object if needed. Press Shift+Spacebar to show the modules again and see the effect on the module layout. This is useful for keeping modules away from A/C units, skylights, shaded areas, or inverter pads.
Once you have your Keepout ready you may create a copy of the Keepout to place around the roof for skylights or HVAC units.
