LIDAR Availability Map

HelioScope offers LIDAR coverage through many parts of the United States and selected international locations, visible on our map below. HelioScope’s current coverage areas are green for Aurora LIDAR and orange for Google 3D. Here is the United States coverage map:

For Google LIDAR, Google 3D has higher quality than Google 3D Medium. For Aurora LIDAR, age, point density, and score are also available. Click on an area to view details. We use the age and point density of LIDAR data to calculate a score out of 100. For reference, a point density of 0.7 is acceptable, and a point density of 4 or more is quite good.
