The following keyboard shortcuts can improve your workflow inside HelioScope:
- Shift - Force lines to be perpendicular while drawing
- Shift + Space bar - Toggle modules on and off
- Shift + Clicking-Dragging Mouse - Orbit view in 3D

For Field Segments and Keepouts (including trees): If you are looking to copy and paste a Keepout/Tree and are on the Keepout tab make sure you click the arrow button to enter editing mode
- Copy: Ctrl-C (Cmd-C for Mac) Note: This replaces the current copy-and-paste functionality in the right-click menu.
- Paste: Ctrl-V (Cmd-V for Mac) Note: After using the keyboard shortcut to paste and you determine where you want to paste the Field Segment, Keepout/Tree please left-click on the desired location to finish pasting the Field Segment, Keepout/Tree.
- Undo: Ctrl-Z (Cmd-Z for Mac)
- Redo: Ctrl-Y (Cmd-Y for Mac)
- Delete: Backspace or Delete
- A - Switch to Add Keepout mode (from Keepout menu)
- E - Switch to Edit Keepout mode (from Keepout menu)
- R - Rotate manual module orientation between portrait & landscape (from Manual Module add mode)
- Up-Arrow / Down-Arrow - When the cursor is in a value field, arrow keys increment the value up or down

Bulk Actions: Pressing the S Key or left-clicking the Select Button in the Designer activates Bulk Actions, allowing the selection of multiple elements like Field Segments, Keepouts, and Trees. Once bulk actions mode is enabled you can left-click and drag your cursor to determine the area you want to edit. Then you can move, copy Ctrl-C (Cmd-C for Mac), paste Ctrl-V (Cmd-V for Mac), and/or delete design elements.
- Additionally, if you want to add or remove a Field Segment, Keepout, or Tree from the selection you can press Shift and left-click the element. To exit Bulk Actions mode you can press the ESC key.
