In this next wave of New Experience changes, we have updated the Overview page. Looking to provide a better customer experience while working on a Project in HelioScope, considering the functionality in Classic as well as user feedback, we implemented the following changes:
Overview
The Overview Page has been updated to display a list of all designs included in the Project, along with their names, nameplate DC, and AC ratings. Here you can create a "New Design", take a "View the details of each Design", download DXF, DAE (only available for customers on the Enterprise Plan), Single-line diagram, and Design render (JPEG). Lastly, by clicking the three dots on the right side, you can rename, lock, and delete a Design.
Conditions
The Conditions Page allows users to edit, rename, and delete existing Condition Sets or create new ones
Energy Usage
On the new Energy Usage Page, users can set or select the utility rate, add incentives, and enter or upload consumption data for the financial analysis of their project
Utility Rates
There are two options that can be selected for utility rates: a flat rate (net metering with a true-up compensation is an option) or a custom rate from the team's library.
Consumption
HelioScope allows users to upload interval consumption files or monthly consumption data (at least one month is required).
Incentives
Financial incentives can be added to a Project; users can add multiple incentives to a single project if necessary. For tax basis purposes, the order in which incentives are displayed can be adjusted by clicking the dotted area to the left of the incentive name and dragging and dropping the incentive to the desired place.
Reports
The updated Reports Page enables users to simulate Designs for each available Condition Set, download the Shade Report, and the 8760 CSV file. Additionally, users can follow the simulation progress and check metrics like kWh/kWp, performance ratio, overall system production in kWh, and access the Production Report.
Financials
On the Financials Tab, the Financial model can be renamed and deleted, and information about the model and project results can be viewed. To view detailed annual values relevant to the Project, users can access the Debug table. Additionally, a different Financial model can be selected as well as the Design that the model applies to.
Proposals
The Proposals Page displays the team's account "Favorite Proposal templates" for download. Also, a different Financial model can be selected, as well as the Design that the model applies to.
