HelioScope provides the capability to automate common design styles through Project Profiles. As an administrator for the account or project, there is the option to designate these Profiles as a user's default or to select them when initiating a new Project.
When a Project Profile is modified within an existing Project, the existing Designs and Condition Sets remain unaffected. However, any new Designs or Condition Sets that are created within that existing Project will incorporate the inputs specified in the new Project Profile that has been selected.

Step-by-Step Instructions
On the left-hand side of your screen click Libraries
Then click Profiles
Click +New Profile and select the type of Profile you would like to create. Keep in mind that Profiles in HelioScope are implemented at the Project level. However, it is important to note that each Project Profile comprises Conditions, Electrical, Mechanical, and Financial Profiles. These more detailed Profiles outline the specific assumptions utilized in new HelioScope Designs and Condition Sets.
Start by creating Conditions, Electrical, Mechanical, and Financial Profiles
Conditions
You can add default conditions that will impact your project, like soiling, energy losses, cell temperature model, bifacial modeling, mismatch, Advanced, and Trackers
Electrical
Allows you to select default values related to your electrical configuration, like your inverter, DC to AC ratio, DC and AC subsystem.
Mechanical
You can pre-set the module, racking, tilt, row spacing, and other layout rules.
Financial
Set your default financial model and incentives.
Project Profile
Once you have created the individual profiles, create a Project Profile and assign Conditions, Electrical, Mechanical, and Financial Profiles to it by selecting the appropriate configurations in each drop-down. Note: this is the most commonly-missed step when creating new Profiles.
