Currently, HelioScope does not account for the vertical height of Field Segments when calculating wire lengths. A workaround is to calculate the height of the wire drop, then drag the inverter or other components the additional length to account for this distance. For example, if the Field Segment has a 20-foot-high surface height and the inverters are located on the ground of the North side of a structure, the inverter can be dragged an additional 20 feet away from the structure to account for the non-calculated surface height. A Keepout can be used to help measure the 20' length, as shown in this example:
